Summer and Crazy Days! :)

So my last update was May 15, 2010 and that's way too long not to update you all! Soo much has happened within the past couple months! First summer came and I forgot how hot it gets here! Wayyy too hot for me! Even though I have lived here for most of my life I still hate the summers!

My parents are both doing a lot better! :) They didn't have the cancers like the doctors kept saying they had! Such happy news!!! All was happy and everyone is doing fabulous! As it turns out my friend who I kept thinking was my best friend from Washington only contacted me in May because she needed my help with rent and everything else. She wanted me to come back up there to help her and to eventually move with her to another state. "not happening" I was in no shape to help her with money or deal with the drama again. So officially now she hates my guts and is not talking to me. Oh well!! I really don't care anymore about her! Better times are ahead and I didn't need that drama in my life!!

So while I have been back here in Arizona living with my parents I have met some amazing friends. The Mullen Family! They live right down the street from us and they are simply amazing and awesome!!! I love them!! One of the kids I really connected with was Anna who is 13 and we are best friends for life now. They have 6 kids, Oldest is MaryAnn who is 14 and the youngest is Samantha who is 2 and is defiantly a sweet heart. She has won my hear t over! I love all their kids and am sooo happy when I go over there to hang out!!

I have gotten to know Corina Mullen so much. She is soo inspiring and amazing!! She has helped me grow in so many different ways. I cannot express how much I appreciate her and all that she has done for me. She has helped me in rough times and also helped me get through something I never thought I would ever get through! Thank You Corina!!

We went on vacation this summer, We went to Utah! I took Anna with me and my parents . My sister Kelly and her kids came a couple days later! We had sooo much fun! We went swimming almost every single day and went to the moves like 3 times. We saw Eclipse and Toy Story 3! On the 4th of July we went to a water parade and had a blast trying to catch all the candy and free stuff. Especially at the end when they had the water part. Big trucks coming through spraying everyone with water. Fun times. I love Utah and can't wait to go back next year!

So now we come to August! I have spent most of my summer hanging out with the Mullen family and of course mine! In the beginning of August I found out my bro-in-law had passed away! Our whole family was devastated and wanted to help my sister who was living in New Mexico so the very next day, My mom me and my sister Amy all loaded and headed to New Mexico. The drive and weather was amazing! We spent the whole weekend with my sister and her family in New Mexico. My sister wanted me to stay with her for the next week while my mom and other sister headed back to Arizona to get ready to help my sister move back from New Mexico to Arizona that very next weekend! So I did! It was fun. I got to stay and played with dogs and rode a horse! Fun!

The very next weekend our whole family and a family friend headed to New Mexico to help my sister move. We loaded up 10 large Mastiff dogs and all the fencing onto a trailer and 14 puppies into a kennel in my sisters car! So we had about 3 cars all following each other the whole way back to Arizona. While on the road one of the dogs was not happy and was trying to get out of her cage so we had to stop several times to get her back into her cage! The dog was actually chewing off the welding of the cages and chewing trough metal to get out of the cages! So a 5 hour trip ended up being a 10 hour trip in a car and stopping a million times. We also ran into a huge storm when we hit Tucson and horrible rain. It was quite a trip. We ended up getting to my sisters new house around 1Am and started unloaded the trailers and putting dogs away. We finally got to our house around 2:30 Am what a trip.
The very next morning we were all headed out to my sisters new place to help her set up dog kennels and everything else. My sister decided she wanted to go back to New Mexico. She was not happy within the 24 hours she had been here. It was too hot and her dogs were dyeing. I had also at one point in the week said I would stay with her for a little while to help her out. But when we got back from New Mexico I decided I was not going to Due to all the drama that had happened the previous week with her kids and everything else. So now it was my fault she was leaving and her friends from New Mexico game and got her. So basically we did all that moving and traveling and spending money we didn't have for basically nothing!! What a waste of time and energy. I was sooooo mad!! Oh well! Hopefully she can pull it together in New Mexico and be happy somewhere!

So this was a summer to never forget and full of good Times!! Soo happy i have met the people I did and got to experience some really amazing things! Hope you all enjoyed this post! :)

Life Now a days! (written In May 2010)

Well can't believe it's already May 15 2010. Time sure does fly by fast. I half to say the last 5 months have flown by and fast. I have done so many different things within the last few months. Let's see 5 months ago I was in WA and was having a blast. I was with the people i loved and cared for. I also started on the journey with going to college and starting out to be a medical assistant. Then I decided to change over to Social work with a passion for Child and family services. While going back to school at Kaplan University I have met so many great people and learned so much. I love being in school.

I came back to Arizona to be with someone of which i thought loved me and I loved him. Things didn't end out working. Things happened and things didn't end up working out. It was for the best. You half to do what you half to do. I have learned that. It's taken me a while to understand that and well I have surely learned so much. I finally moved to Queen Creek and am loving it here . I have made some amazing friends along the way. I have been with family and my most important people I need in my life.

Within the past few months both of my parents have become sick. It's hard to sit here and watch them. I know helping them out is the best I can do but things need to change. It's really hard to see them getting old and so sick. I know they are going to the doctors and doing everything they are told to do but if you were here in my shoes you would see why I feel this way. I just feel like something is missing. That special someone. Who I longed to see and have in my life again. I know who this person is. She knows who she is. I just need a change. They say that change is sometimes hard. I am sure it will be ok to have change once in a while. So this Summer, I am not saying where, Who, Why and When because it's still trying to work itself out. but some change is going to happen and its going to be a positive change. I have already made some changes within my life now. I am taking a break from school while I figure out what I want and how to stay up with my school work and get the grades that are needed. So I should be starting back to school in July sometime.

So this is my life now a days and things are headed down crazy road soon and I can't wait until this summer. Thanks for reading! :)

September 11, 2001.
Who could forget September 11, 2001. I certainly won’t I was 15 and was in High School in Tucson Arizona. I had woke up like I always did, Woke up to JohnJay and Rich on the Radio. They were talking about the news, so I didn’t really pay much attention just got ready for school. It was about 6:30AM and it was almost time to go to breakfast. Every Morning before I went to breakfast I went to get my meds as I walked out of my room I saw all the dorm staff and some students watching TV, Which was unusual because only the staff watched music videos in the morning. There sure enough The Twin Towers were hit. We were all in amazement.
I headed over to get my meds and the nurses had the TV in the hall Way and everyone was watching. Everyone was in shock they Couldn’t believe what had happened. There was a big line of students waiting to get there meds.
　
I had ate my Breakfast in disbelief and headed back to the dorm to get my stuff ready for school. I called my parents and my mom had said everything was fine and she had the 3 foster kids in her room and was watching TV. I got all my books and stuff ready for school and headed to my 1st period class.
When the bell rang everyone got inside and our teacher turned on the TV. He had told us that our school was going to be put in Lockdown So no one could go anywhere for a while. Mean while my mom had called the school and made sure things were ok they had told her that the students were put in lockdown and were talking about what was going on.
Later on that day the lockdown was lifted seeing there was nothing else going to happen and after the President had spoke about it and said everything was ok.
8 years ago our country changed and no one will ever forget where they were and what they were doing. I remember how I felt looking on as the first tower fell to the ground. It was a day I will not soon forget. I remember some of the thoughts that went through my mind as I watched, on TV, the second tower tumble to the ground. So many lives were ruined. So many people were devastated. The news went all across the world and people gathered in the streets to see what good could be done to aid their fellow man. The world seemed to pause for a moment in time while people tried to understand what happened and why this had to be.
Thank you to all my Solders and everyone who served in the military now or in the past. You are doing an awesome thing. Our country thanks your for that.

My First Entry!!

My first entry well let see? my name is Amanda and I come from a family of 10 children. I was born and raised in Arizona and just recently moved to Washington State. I moved here with a very good friend and her family. It was kind of a spur of the moment kind of thing. I have always wanted to move somewhere it’s cold and it snows but I didn’t think I would really do it. I have been here for almost 2 Months and WOW the weather is a lot different that Arizona. Much nicer. I was born with many medical challenges and continue to do well with them. I am Partially blind and partially Deaf.
　
Moving 1300 miles was rough on me and my family and still is. We traveled during the heat of the summer without AC. It took us a bit longer because we were pulling a trailer behind the car. We traveled through
Arizona
Utah
Idaho
Oregon
Washington
Our last night on the road we were almost to Washington and we got a flat on the trailer tire and slept on the side of the road until the morning. That was an eventful night. Did you know when you go through Oregon that when you stop to fill up gas that they have customer service come and fill up your tank, all you half to do is just pay for it. That was awesome.
We found a little house and within a couple of weeks were able to move in. If you sit out on our front porch you can see the Columbia River it’s about a mile away. We have already gone to the Columbia river and went swimming. It was COLD.
Now we have settled in our little home and the kids have started school FINALLY. The schools in Arizona started school in the beginning of August and the kids here started last week.
